Study Thai at school

We offer courses at home or office and in our school. Here you find all the courses we offer at our school: for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners.

In our school you can also study privately: in that case you have one teacher for yourself.  Or you study together with your friends, family or colleagues. In that case you form a private group.

And you can simply sign up for any class. Then you study in a small group.

3- short course at school

Short course in school

Designed with the short term resident or long(er) staying tourists in mind.
You'll learn enough Thai to get by on the street.

  • meet and greet 
  • ask for directions
  • give a taxi driver instructions
  • buy something in a shop
  • ordering a meal in a restaurant
  • and much more!

The short course is 15 hours. The schedule is flexible: some students prefer 4 hours per day, others prefer 2 hours per day. It's up to you. A full short course takes normally one week up to two weeks.

Price: Bt. 5,850 (for 15 hrs)

  • Surcharge for textbook Bt. 100
  • Cancellation one day in advance, or at least 5 hrs before class (if on the same day)
  • Course remains valid for 6 months
  • Courses less than 15 hours are charged at Bt 450 per hour

 

 

2- Group lessons at school

Group classes by Bâan Phaasãa Thai

Many students prefer to learn Thai in a group at our school.
It helps: you learn from your classmates almost as much as from your teacher.

Group classes at Bâan Phaasãa Thai: 
  • Are 3 to 5 lessons per week
  • One lesson is two hours
  • Surcharge for textbook is Bt 100 per book
  • There are no additional lessons for those who miss class
  • for 2 students per 32 hours Bt. 7,860 per student
  • for 3 students per 34 hours Bt. 6,650 per student
  • for 4 students per 36 hours Bt. 6,050 per student
  • for 5-7 students per 38 hours Bt. 5,450 per student

Class hours:

We teach groups at our school at the following hours. You pick the time(s) and days(s) you like best:

  • Morning classes: 10.00-12.00 on Mon, Wed & Fri(2 hrs)
  • Afternoon class: 13.00-15.00 on Mon, Wed & Fri (2 hrs)
  • Evening class: 18.00-20.00 on Mon, Wed & Fri (2hrs)

Private tuition by Bâan Phaasãa Thai

Private lessons at our school: 
  • are 2 to 5 lessons per week
  • a 1 hour lesson costs Bt 11,490 for 30 lessons (30 hours total)
  • a 1.5 hour lesson costs Bt. 10,890 for 20 lessons (30 hours total)
  • 2 hour lesson costs Bt. 10,280 for 15 lessons (30 hours total)
  • course is valid for a full year
  • surcharge for textbook is Bt 100 per book
  • cancellations one day in advance or 5 hours ahead notification

Art and Sangria

Every first and every third Saturday of the month we do an art class:

You learn how to paint a painting. No experience is necessary. A fun way of learning how to paint and combine it with a bit of Thai language practice. While you are busy, enjoy your afternoon with a glass of Sangria. We provide you with everything you need:

  • a canvas
  • brushes
  • paint
  • sangria!
